DIANNE SIWAK - HOME PAGE.
Her Biography.
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba,
Dianne is now a resident of Matlock.Her interest in drawing
began at an early age as she watched her grandfather and other
members of her family paint.In Grade Eight, she won an art sholarship
from high school and has continued over the years, to sketch
and paint. Dianne married and had three children.While they
were in school, she found the time to study art and paint.She
joined the Winnipeg Sketch Club and later joined the Forum Art
Institute in Winnipeg and studied with Nick Bjelajac for 10
years. Dianne was excited when she learned she would be moving
to Matlock and be able to follow her love of nature with her
passion for painting. During the previous 10 years to her move
in 1998 to Matlock, she had not painted and now would be able
to join the area's art groups and enjoy painting with other
artists. Through joining the Gimli Art Club, Dianne Siwak has
had the artistic exposure necessary to sell many paintings of
wildlife and the scenery of the area, with portraits and abstracts
and more recently sculptured ceramic work included in her art.
Hopefully she will be able to paint and create art for many
more years.
