Art has taken her many places since retirement. A few years ago it began with Tole painting, then Acrylic on canvas. Watercolor was another level that challenged her adventurous nature for art. She also works with Clay, producing soulful pieces of Art. It’s with pride, she says, that her work has found its way to homes in North America and Europe. She was fortunate to have worked under Professor Luther Pokrant, artist in residence at the Gimli Art Club as well as many workshops. She volunteered with the Art Program in partnership with The Gimli Art Club and the local high school as well as served on the Art Club Executive. More recently her interest is in mural painting. Presently she has three murals on the Seawall along the Gimli Harbour as well as restoring other murals already on the seawall. She intends to keep painting and learning as it’s become what she loves to do.
