Marja Ranson

Marja grew up in The Netherlands. She started drawing at an early age and the art in the beautiful Dutch museums and galleries became a big part of her life.
After retiring, she and her husband settled in Gimli and she joined the Gimli Art Club and Gallery and fell in love with pottery.

Although she works on the wheel, she gravitates towards the versatility of handbuilding, sgraffito and experimenting with different methods of glazing.
