Michael Cherlet

A former railway labourer, high school band teacher and professional musician, Michael began painting in 2010.  He has received training through Gimli Art Club workshops, classes at the Winnipeg Art Gallery and a six-month Manitoba Arts Network mentorship program where he studied with Diane Whitehouse and Linda Fairfield.  His paintings have been selected for the Manitoba Society of Artists Juried Art Show and received awards at the Red River Exhibition Juried Art Shows and the Interlake Juried Art Shows.  Michael works in oil, acrylic and instant coffee.
