John Atchison

John Atchison has been creating pottery since the early 80s. It all started when he watched a friend of a friend build a wood firing kiln in his backyard. John went on to join the pottery programs at the Freighthouse in Winnipeg, the Fort Rouge Leisure Centre and the Winnipeg Art Gallery. Three years of evening classes at beautiful Canadore College in North Bay, ON honed his skills.

He finds working with clay creative and meditative and sees a continued life playing in mud.
